Southwire Job Description

Summary: 
The Integration Quality Manager will lead the execution of Quality deliverables identified in the integration plan including mapping the QMS of the acquired company and integrating each element into the TCAS quality system and processes.  Efforts will be focused on internal/supply chain measures (PPM, scrap reduction, supplier quality) and external measures (customer complaints, non-conformances).

Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
   ISO 9001:2015: If the acquired company is ISO, establish a plan to maintain compliance, and transition to Southwire
   Map acquired company QMS and develop plan to migrate into Southwire's QMS, including: 
o    Supplier Quality
o    Distribution Quality
o    Customer Quality
o    Quality Document Storage
o    Create and maintain quality system documentation including quality work instructions, control plans, and check sheets
o    Participate in development and maintenance of FMEAs
o    Participate in internal/external quality audits, customer audits and responses
o    Emphasis on Supplier Quality Management systems and processes
   Quality Systems 
o    Support the migration of the acquired company into SAP
   Continuous Improvement
o    Perform and direct capability and process improvement studies
o    Implement statistical methods for problem solving, scrap reduction and quality improvement, in support of Southwire's OPS culture
   Quality Standards
o    Develop clear understanding of applicable regulations and standards 
o    Ensure appropriate processes and controls are in place to comply with regulations and standards
   Problem Solving
    Lead sites in resolution of internal/external quality issues using a structured problem-solving approach
   Train acquired associates to quality standards and processes
   Foster an environment of open communication and collaboration - always driving to improve customer experience

Qualification and Experience Requirements:
   Bachelor's Degree in Business or an Engineering discipline preferred along with 5+ years directly related Quality experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
   Experienced in APQP methodology, including PPAP, FMEA, GR&R (Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility), Process Validation and Control Plans.
   ASQ certification desired
   Detail oriented, self-starter with the ability to deal with multiple challenges and projects simultaneously with minimum supervision  
   Should possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
   Ability to effectively lead small groups and provide support to achieve goals
   Demonstrated organizational, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills required
   Excellent problem solving and analytical skills related to product design, product function and product failure analysis
   Strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
   Organizational agility/getting things done through others
   Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio
   SAP quality module experience
   Ability to travel 50-75%
