Job Title:    Director, Enterprise Risk Management
Department:    Legal
Report To:    VP, Litigation, Quality & ERM


Summary


The Director, Enterprise Risk Management, will be part of a team of professionals with a mission to deliver top quality, strategic, cost-conscious solutions to identify, mitigate and manage risk across the company.  The director will partner with the business to assess risks and will have strong knowledge of enterprise risk management and business continuity planning, and will have experience developing and implementing ERM tools and programs and business continuity plans for manufacturing and corporate settings.  

 

Description of Duties and Responsibilities

 

    Develops Enterprise Risk Management tools and programs, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks, and to manage risks according to an enterprise risk management framework
    Support department's aspiration of creating a strong risk/control assurance function, being consistently sought out for risk/control advisory services, delivering respected, valued, data-driven risk/control insights, and positively influencing continuous improvement of the changing global risk/control environment
    Continue to enhance the company's enterprise risk management program through alignment with leading practices, including foundational processes, linkage to company initiatives and strategy, risk aggregation and reporting tools, and ongoing improvements
    Plan and manage execution of the enterprise risk assessment processes to identify, assess, and monitor enterprise risks
    Coordinate risk assessment and risk management activities with other second line functions (including Information Security, Compliance, etc.) to optimize risk management initiatives
    Support the facilitation of risk appetite discussions and development of repeatable analytical solutions to create Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to monitor risks
    Work with principal risk owner to develop appropriate risk treatment plans across functions or business units
    Develop and/or implement (repeatable/automated) solutions to analyze and report on risk trends and insights
    Develop and deliver risk awareness training to risk owners
    Ensures the organization's risk management policies and initiatives are in compliance with applicable regulations and aligned with organizational objectives
    Partner with the business to identify gaps and develop risk mitigation strategies and proposals for risk remediation


Qualifications and Experience Requirements

 

    Bachelor's degree in risk management, Finance, Accounting or related field
    7+ years of related work and/or leadership experience
    Experience with program management in risk including reporting, creation and analysis of risk metrics
    Experience with Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) platforms
    Ability to effectively communicate and build consensus with cross-functional groups as well as senior management
