JOB TITLE: Services Manager Industries:Pharma, Food & Beverage TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES Overall responsibility for the commercial, operational, and financial performance of the Service, Site Projects and Passivation department. Develop an annual Sales plan to grow activity levels, with particular emphasis on growing the service business through annual rolling contracts with customers. It is anticipated that this division will reach annual turnover of €10m in next 2 years. Overall responsibility for achieving sales targets and profitability targets. Liaise with Customers and own team to ensure all project requirements are known and understood to allow accurate estimation and sales pricing is achieved. Ensure any potential issues that might arise as regards to project delivery are identified up front and proactively provide realistic and commercial solutions to the customer. Understand project requirements, coordinate with resources and direct the projects in the right direction in a timely manner. Delegate and allocate responsibilities efficiently to manage projects end to end. Develop internal SOPs where required, processes, documentation, and training to ensure that team members have the skills and tools they need to deliver on project commitments. Communicate across your department to foster strong partnership and drive successful outcomes for the company and its customers. Monitor and report on project progress and identify and proactively manage any risks to the project's schedule or commercial objectives. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with relevant Health & Safety and Quality guidelines. Propose and justify any improvements that can be made to improve our competitiveness and project delivery. Monitor staff performance to ensure maximum efficiency and flexibility. Monitor staff loading and use external capacity if required. Assess current work flow and practices and input efficiency plans, if required. Maintain a training matrix to ensure all staff are being trained. COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS Education & Training 7+ years' Engineering, Service, Site work experience. Minimum third level qualification or management experience Experience A minimum of 7+ years' experience is required. Skills Experience in Management of People in complex and competitive environment. Strong Technical and Mechanical background in the Pharmaceutical sector Sound business acumen and driven to achieve deadlines in a changing environment. Ability to take responsibility and make decisions. i.e. talk with clients to resolved day to day issues Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Desire to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and to continuously improve department and company performance. Strong IT and administration skills. Possess a full and valid driving license.
