Senior Solicitor - Local Government
Working for a governing body in the North of England supporting DfT with the role out of the 10-year North of England programme. This role would suit a solicitor that has worked in local government or is a solicitor in private practice that is looking to move to an inhouse role
Location: - North West Hybrid Flexible working: 1-2 days in the Central Manchester office
Salary: £50,000 to £56,000
The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a governing body supporting the legal aspects of new projects being developed and awarded in the North of England. Acting as an advisor between the Department for Transport and the local authorities / rail-based stakeholders (TOC, Network Rail etc..)
You will be acting as the legal and governance specialist providing support across a wide range of legal issues. Delivering high-quality, timely legal advice, representation and documentation of a specialist or complex nature, fulfilling all statutory or regulatory requirements across all of the following disciplines:
- Public and administrative law
- Company law
- Commercial law
- Contract law
- Procurement law
- Data protection and freedom of information
