DIRECT CARE PROFESSIONAL (DCP) JOB DESCRIPTION:
ACR Homes cares about providing the best quality of care for our residents. As a Direct Care Professional (DCP), you will receive thorough paid training that will allow you to care for the physical, medical, and emotional needs of our residents with disabilities in a residential group home setting. You will also gain skills in advocacy by helping residents on appointments and in the community. In addition to that, you will have the opportunity to administer medications, work with specialized medical equipment, assist with daily therapies and treatments, and build genuine friendships by enjoying fun activities together.
DIRECT CARE FLOAT JOB DESCRIPTION:
Direct Care Floats have the opportunity to do the same work as our traditional DCPs but instead of being placed at one home, Floats work shifts at all locations. Floats receive training for all ACR and Arthur's locations and receive their schedules 1 week in advance. Floats can be part-time or full-time and receive a higher hourly starting wage.
WAGES, TUITION ASSISTANCE, BENEFITS:
ACR Homes offers paid training to their employees. Once training is completed, DCPs receive NEW HIGHER WAGES starting up to $19.50/hr depending on the position and when you are working. There are numerous opportunities to advance within the company that are accompanied by pay increases, and raises are offered starting at 1 year of employment.

**Effective 5/22/22, ALL Direct Care Assistants, Direct Care Professionals and Floats will see a $2.00/hour increase for weekend hours (hours worked between 2pm on Friday through Sunday at 10pm).

TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Part-time and full-time employees who are enrolled in college and working toward a degree can earn up to $2,000/yr towards tuition and other qualifying expenses.
