We have an exciting new opportunity for an Operations & Stock Control Coordinator to join our team based at our head office in Cheddar. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, working 35 hours, Monday - Friday and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £25,000 - £27,000 per annum plus benefits. All applicants applying must have permission to work in the UK, unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor visas Benefits you will receive: Competitive basic salary 20 days holiday + your birthday off Health care scheme Other company benefits Key tasks of our Operations & Stock Control Coordinator: The close management and control (stock volumes and commercials) of all packaging, ingredient & 3rd party stocks used across the entire FSC estate. As part of stock management, the Operations & Stock Control Coordinator is responsible for: Overseeing the re-order process and ensuring deliveries are made within given timeframes. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders in managing packaging, ingredient & 3rd party product stock levels, to avoid any out of stock or additional storage costs. Responsible for managing and reporting the end to end commercial cost of stock held across the network and at manufacturer Identifying stock risks and possible opportunities to reduce stock value by instigating improvement in purchasing and stock management processes Managing the process of listing new products with distributors & ensuring stock availability for launch. Managing the impact of stock write-off, ensuring costs are kept to a minimum and fall within the required business levels Managing the day-to-day supply issues and ensuring the FSC field teams are fully briefed on such issues and resolutions. Supplying to the business weekly customer delivery report & stock holding value reports The role will require travel to manufacturing & distribution partners sites to conduct regular stock counts & to resolve service issues. The role will be heavily involved in the development, delivery, and daily use of the new NetSuite systems Supporting the FSCD customer service team with distribution queries Supporting the wider Operations team where deemed necessary. What we re looking for in our Operations & Stock Control Coordinator: Essential Educated to A Level standard. Experience Background in stock control management is preferable. Experience in managing and engaging external and internal stakeholders across a large product portfolio Previous exposure to the commercial management of an extensive range of products. Understanding of supply chain processes and logistics Skills Computer and software literate, advanced EXCEL level desirable Strong analytical, numerical and communication skills required in the management of stocks, developing weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports, and presenting back to either internal or external stakeholders Commercial acumen is essential in managing the stock levels in terms of financial impact to business Due to daily contact with external and internal partners strong presentation and communication skills Excellent organisations skills, both written and verbal, required due to high level of packaging and ingredients lines across numerous stakeholders Relish working in a fast-paced environment in a hands-on capacity Must be flexible & to be able to work autonomously The ability to make your own decisions & be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines If you feel have the skills and experience to become our Operations & Stock Control Coordinator, please click apply now.
