Learning Support Assistant You're currently working in the classroom supporting young people with SEN and you pride yourself on the contribution you make to children's education. The assignment: Supporting children's behaviour for learning Assisting children with their understanding of activities and encourage active participation in class Assisting with note taking A secondary LSA will have exposure to all the curriculum subjects You may work with individual learners in the classroom 1:1 or you may work with individuals or small groups in the Learning Support department. Supporting the pupil's individual needs, according to their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Participating in team meetings and Continual Professional Development (CPD) training provided by the school as an active member of a team Maintaining pupil progress records Supporting regulations pertaining to safeguarding ()If you would like the opportunity to explore further and find out more, then I would love to talk to you if you've provided support to children in any capacity and would like to transfer these skills to a school-based setting
