HR Manager Portishead Fixed term - Maternity cover - Minimum of 9 months Annual Salary £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience Astute are proudly partnered with a leading company drawing on 25 years of in-house experience, their people find the right approach, the right combination of expertise and equipment, and the safest, most efficient way to transport and install their assets and critical infrastructure. Our client transports and installs large structures and critical assets needed to build and renew major infrastructure. Everything from a new, 4,000 te railway bridge to the world's largest offshore windfarm blade, at 107m long. Our client has one of the largest domestic SPMT fleets in the UK and some of the heaviest lift cranes. Roles & Responsibilities The HR Manager will support the development and be accountable for the execution of the People strategy, in conjunction with managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle/HR Operations. As a HR Manager you will be responsible for: People Strategy Execution - execute the tactics and support the development of the People Strategy, with support from the CFTO. HR Processes - ensure we have efficient and effective HR processes that supports having the Right People in the Right Seats. You must support employees to follow processes and ensure a feedback loop is in place so that they continuously improve/evolve. Success Management - coach and support managers to effectively manage and develop their people so that we retain highly motivated effective people. HR Support - support complex employee relations cases including disciplinaries, performance management, grievances, retirement, redundancy, absence management etc. HR Administration - overall accountability for manage the HR systems and records Skills & Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: CIPD level 5 (or Associate member of CIPD minimum standard) Proven HR generalist minimum experience of six years Experienced in developing and supporting line managers through change Experience in managing and supporting HR projects and initiative.
