Are you looking for a fun exciting new challenge within a Primary school Academy with new build facilities based within the Blackpool area (FY1)? Do you have previous experience working with Early Years Foundation stage pupils? Does the prospect of regular and long term employment interest you? Then this is ideal for you! We are looking for a caring and nurturing individual that has the ability to manage, guide and teach children in a classroom setting on a 1:1 basis as a TA. Some of the children require extra support as they may have a variety of needs and behaviours, that need someone to help focus their attention in order to bring the best out of their ability within the classroom environment. This school is looking for a Level 2 experienced TA with an understanding of the EYFS curriculum or has EYFS experience. Ideally you will be able to support phonics, sensory needs and the ability to support a variety of learning styles. You need to be someone who can be entertaining, enthusiastic, supportive and empowering to the learning of young pupils. The school has local parking and 360 pupils with a curriculum that promotes growth, possibility and community. The client is situated in Central Blackpool so public transport routes are easily accessible. Our client is committed to give every child a wide range of activities and experiences that allow them to thrive and blossom throughout their years within the school, allowing them to develop the key skills and knowledge needed to help kick start their journey into further educational avenues in the future. This role will be part - time, Wednesday - Friday 8:30-3:30 for one to two terms starting asap! Key responsibilities: Support pupils with their learning in 1:1, small groups and the whole class. Collaborate with the class teacher regarding targets and expectations Liaise with other professionals within the School eg. Teachers, TAs, specialist support staff. Support the monitoring and tracking of all pupils in line with the assessment procedures in school. Helping support the class teacher with IEP's Essential Requirements: TA qualified Level 2 or 3 Must be an outgoing individual with an ability to engage with pupils to have FUN while learning Must be able to work collaboratively and competently within a teamDesirable Requirements: An understanding of SEN or learning needs.
