About the Delegate Sales Manager / Community Development Manager The Delegate Sales Manager is responsible for securing senior attendee registrations for my client's portfolio of reputable conferences. The successful candidate will contact sales leads by telephone and email to help reach delegate targets and contribute to overall revenue generation. Having the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with event deadlines is a necessity. This is a key role that offers excellent opportunity for progression to Team leader in short time. Responsibilities: Delegate Sales Manager / Community Development Manager Working fully remote as the delegate sales manager you will: - You will work to strategically grow the senior delegate community encompassing senior thought leaders to share knowledge across the calendar of face-to-face and digital events. - Your role will specialise across the breadth of audience development, lead generation and meeting activation. Operating as part of a sales team, the role will work with internal stakeholders to build successful business outcomes for the agency s clients. - The role will involve learning about technology led topics and agendas, understanding market challenges and working with C-suite decision makers to generate meetings and leads that have the potential to deliver £1m+ deal sizes for your clients. Experience of Delegate Sales Manager / Community Development Manager - Ideally, you will have 12+ months outbound sales experience. This could be across B2B or B2C but it is important that you have experience of being proactive and target driven in a previous sales role. If you have event sales or delegate sales experience then it is a bonus but not essential. - You are comfortable in talking with people at a senior level and are confident you will be able to learn about some complex technology topics, dependant on the event. - This is a role for someone comfortable with modern technology for sales outreach LinkedIn, Email, Telephone etc. Salary for Delegate Sales Manager The salary budget is £30-35,000 dependant on experience + commission of £45-50K OTE uncapped in your first year. There s also Gym membership, Perkbox Access, your birthday as holiday and the company trip abroad Barcelona in 2022. This is a hybrid working role with the option to balance your working life between office and home
