I am currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join a leading technology business based in Reading. The Customer Services team provides an excellent standard of customer service delivery, providing support and advice to the business s customers both Internal and External. The Customer Service Advisor will help customers to realise the maximum benefits from the business s products and services, not only in resolving enquiries, but also ensuring that the customer has the right solution to meet their needs and requirements. The Customer Services Advisor provides first line support to customers through direct customer contact over the telephone, via webchat and the mailboxes. The Customer Service Advisor is responsible for documenting customer contact details, queries and resolutions and other pertinent information in relation to the customer interaction in all the relevant computer-based system(s). Whilst delivering expert advice and guidance on the front line, the Customer Services Advisor will proactively recognise opportunities to up sell and cross sell products and services where appropriate ensuring use of knowledge of the business units to find the best solution for the customer s needs. About You You will be confident with a professional telephone manner, first-rate communication skills and a genuine commitment to quality customer service and customer satisfaction. You will also have/be: Previous frontline customer service experience from a fast-paced environment. Keyboard proficiency and strong PC skills including knowledge of basic Windows tools (especially MS Office) and Internet technologies specifically email clients, web browsers and web-based search engines Knowledge of Salesforce would be an advantage. Strong technical translation skills. Good scheduling skills, with the ability to organise, prioritise, plan and follow-through on multiple concurrent tasks Ability to stay calm and professional when dealing with challenging customers. Good standard of education, preferably up to A Level or equivalent. Based in Reading/hybrid (Tues-Thurs in the office), Salary up to £22,500
