We are currently seeking a Temporary Administrator to join an international company based in Marsh Barton Industrial Estate. The company offers a competitive pension scheme, free car parking, dental care and 33 days holiday (including bank holidays).

As an Administrator, you will be working for a market leading provider of security systems; benefitting from the security of an international corporation as well as holding a position of responsibility across the north of England. Founded in 1843 this company has a long history of strong customer service.

This is a temporary role based in the operations team, 37.5 hours per week, 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday (with 1 hour lunch). Salary is circa £21,000 depending on experience.

The role requires a very organised, proactive individual who is able to multitask and deal with a busy work load - if you have electronics experience - perhaps some soldering that would be useful!

Key purpose of the role:-

  • Communicate closely with colleagues, ensuring required equipment is produced and dispatched when required.
  • Variety of administration based duties in line with business needs
  • To ensure that all agreed service levels are achieved and maintained with no interruption to any essential projects or jobs
  • Communicate using appropriate tools to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers and outside service providers.
  • Able to effectively manage expectations of key individuals
  • Ensure that the IT system is maintained accurately and efficiently
  • Progress chase other departments in an effective manner including Production, Procurement, Goods-in and Despatch in order to resolve customer queries
  • Enjoys a challenge and a busy working environment

Previous skills and experience required:-

  • Possesses a proactive, can do attitude
  • System orientated, experience working with databases & spreadsheets.
  • Experienced in resolving customer issues in a calm, efficient and polite manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible, adaptable
  • Highly numerate and literate
  • Excellent IT skills including Excel
  • Great relationship builder
  • Collaborative and motivated
  • Enjoys a challenge and a busy working environment

The successful candidate for this role would ideally have experience in a customer service and adminstrative environment. Someone who has worked in a liaising or logistical position or within an engineering, construction, electrical or manufacturing environment.
