I am currently recruiting for a chef for a temp to perm position, to start as soon as possible.
You will be working in a very popular, traditional 'Old Worlde' pub in the picturesque village of Graveley, Hertfordshire. Renowned for their good pub food on offer, along with their great selection of drinks.
The menu is focused around good quality British Pub Food, with a daily specials board providing scope for you to be creative, providing tasty options for the clienteles.
You will have the support of a great team and you will help them to continue delivering a great service to their customers! You will be an essential part of the team and valued for your skills, experience and ability to consistently deliver high standards across the board.
A busy pub throughout the year, the role is best suited to someone who has experience of working in a busy kitchen environment and is able to think on their feet. Most importantly, you will be a dynamic, motivated and hard working individual who is looking for their next role which allows them to progress.
This position will consist of up to 45 hours per week, the rota includes a variety of days/evenings and weekends with a rota that ensures regular weekends off.
Tasks include but not limited to:
- Cooking orders during meal service to the highest possible standards.
- Good communication skills
- Take pride in maintaining standards across the board
- Supporting Chefs during meal service
- Preparing fresh food for service throughout the week
- Support managing stock and orders with suppliers as required
- Keep kitchen and storage areas clean, tidy and hygienic at all times in line with EHO 5 star standards.
This is a 12 week temp to perm role, paying £14.00 ph, whilst with the agency. Once full time you can expect a salary of £30,000.
