Overview of the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Executive to support our Regional Business Directors (RBD) in the Commercial Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside the NHS, with the passion and ability to upskill yourself. As part of a Regional Business Team, you will be involved with all aspects of customer management, reporting to the Regional Business Director (RBD). This will include review existing contract performance with the RBD, sharing performance metrics with the customer to ensure the contracts are optimised and the business protected as well as being part of the regional business development planning, scoping and starting new contracts with the NHS. You will have a strong eye for detail and enjoy working with data to provide business insights for your colleagues on your customers as well as the competition s activities. Key responsibilities Providing customer management data for the Regional Team to ensure optimised contract performance for existing customers (NHS) Providing customer insights to the RBD to ensure the team are well positioned to be agile and successful in new business development Support the RBD in timely preparation for renewals of all contracts across the region Support the RBD and the customer in the timely administration of the contracts Provide end-to-end support to the RBD for bid management, from framework based min-competitions to full blown tenders. Constantly scan the environment for new policy changes, waiting list changes, competitive activities (non-exhaustive examples) that can help the team remain successful Actively support the RBD in any needed activities that drive customer engagement Work in partnership with the Operations Regional Director to ensure continuous customer support Provide data and analytics on to win business (pricing and competitive activities) for the Regional Team Exchange regional insights with the other regions to develop best practice across the team and ensure we have strong national visibility of the market dynamics The role requires a high level of self management and personal responsibility coupled with the ability to prioritise, organise and manage tasks and workload. Draft and proofread internal and external communications for quality, accuracy and relevance, consulting with stakeholders and relevant teams. Providing high quality business support services to internal/external customers, within the parameters of the services' business agreement Experience and understanding of Sales and customer support working practices Experience in supporting those managing national or large regional customers Provide advice and support to other departments on NHS contract matters. Establish and nurture productive relationships with external bodies to negotiate and facilitate best outcomes. Essential Education GCSE's or A level qualifications The person will Be analytical by nature; having a strong eye for detail Put the customers needs and expectations first Be a strong communicator both written and verbally Be motivated and have experience of working to targets and deadlines Have experience of providing proactive and personalised customer service Be accurate and methodical in their approach to work with an eye for the detail Have the ability to challenge and question ideas, whilst providing alternative solutions Be an honest team player, forming positive relationships with colleagues and customers Pride themselves on being a passionate and energetic Show excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise your day Have the ability to work well under pressure and be a keen problem solver Have the ability to adapt to change and new ways of working Have excellent IT skills to include Excel, Word and ideally CRM databases Skills Able to demonstrate strong organisational skills and high levels of self-motivation. Excellent influencing and communication skills Ability to work proactively and make decisions where appropriate. Demonstrate flexibility and agility to support the delivery of business objectives The ability to plan and anticipate potential problems Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise a busy and often conflicting workload Knowledge of time zones and best means of travel between multinational locations. Possess a willingness to learn in a constant changing environment.
