Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who can deal with challenging behaviour? Do you have a passion to work with young people and help them over come the challenges they face? Teaching Personnel are in need of a Behaviour Support Assistant to join our partner school, starting ASAP. About the school: Situated in North Manchester, our partner school is Ofsted rated Good . Pupils social, moral, spiritual and cultural development is a strength of the school. The school is highly inclusive and the management of the additional funding provided for disadvantaged pupils is very good. This means students with additional needs, behavioural difficulties and SEMH have the support they need. As a Behaviour Support Assistant you will work with pupils who are achieving below the required levels due to poor attendance and behaviour. You will be based in the inclusion centre working 1-2-1 and in small groups to help students learn and begin to enjoy school. Within this role you will work alongside key school staff to reduce levels of unauthorised absence and improve levels of attendance and behaviour. Your role would include undertaking structured and agreed learning activities/programmes, both on a 1-2-1 and small group basis, taking into consideration pupil learning styles.
