Associate/Managing Construction Health & Safety consultant required to lead a dedicated Health and Safety Team for a Health and Safety only, Consultancy firm. The role will be to lead provision of assurance services, as part of the team, to their pharmaceutical client s main operational sites across Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. Overview of Hands on services to be provided. Construction Safety Assurance duties include. Daily site inspections. RAMS Review. Early Engagement with Stakeholders. Site Presence/Visits and oversight of Work in Progress. Management Information and Reports. Stakeholder Management - Collaborate and liaise with all stakeholders. Safety Management Procedures - ensure works adhere to Client health and safety management procedures (asbestos etc), best practice and safety regulations. Client Audits Support Client Audit/Investigations. Ensure clients KPIs, communication, and reporting requirements are met. Manage and ensure the permit to work approver process and associated construction health and safety assurance services are delivered. Ensure the client s health and safety management system, processes, etc are followed. Assist the Management Team in the pursuit of continual improvement of business operating systems. Report on contract performance. Participate in team meetings and workshops Permit to Work Management across three sites Client Safe Permit System utilise Client s exiting electronic system. Performance Reporting. There is an existing Client management system, processes, procedures and documentation that will be utilised. Qualifications: Ideally you will hold CMIOSH with significant construction health & safety experience, most likely gained in consultancy or client side roles within a construction/FM background. Team or line management experience of advisors would also be beneficial, You will be supported, encouraged and challenged to grow via excellent opportunities for career development and professional development.
